New Culture Basics

What we eat is only half of the solution. How we live is just as important to becoming a healthier you. That is why we’ve provided additional tools below to help you realize the full benefits of going to a new lifestyle.

Intermittent Fasting

Fasting is something we do everyday. The word “Breakfast” literally means to Break-Fast or break the fast that our body goes through each night. This natural cycle is similar to how our early ancestor’s bodies went through prolonged periods without food. Ancient history suggests our ancestors were hunters and gatherers and often went days without food as they scavenged and hunted the land. Our bodies were designed to go through these periods of feast and famine. That is why it is essential that we return to the basics with intermittent fasting.

There are many ways to fast. Some people prefer to fast two days in a week and often stagger the fast and feast days. Alternatively, you can fast for 16 hours a day and eat for 8 hours as a regularly daily pattern.

Regardless of the method you choose, fasting is designed to give our body the rest it needs to process the foods we’ve eaten. Fasting doesn’t need to be difficult though, and that is why we encourage you to drink plenty of water, bone broth or as a best option, the Exogenous Keto drink during your fast. This will provide your mind the Ketones it needs to stay sharp and healthy.
